Air Replacement System

The Alto mattress is a full air replacement (air on air) system designed to provide optimal support for individuals at a high risk of skin breakdown.
Alternating Therapy Mode

Offers pressure relief through an Alternating Therapy mode, cycling in a AB (2 in 1) pattern over 10 (default), 15, 20, or 25-minute cycles.
Versatile Modes

The Alto includes static, max inflate, and seat modes, catering to the varied needs of both the user and caregiver.
Unbranded Dynamic System

The dynamic system is unbranded, allowing distributors to customize the pump housing with their logo, enhancing brand identity.

Features

Default Alternating Therapy

Alternating therapy is the default setting, providing pressure relief in an AB (2 in 1) pattern over cycles of 10 (default), 15, 20, or 25 minutes.
Static Mode

Inflates all air cells to the default or selected weight setting pressure, offering a firm surface for patient repositioning, clinical interventions, or bed ingress/egress.
Max Inflate Mode

Automatically inflates all cells to maximum pressure; reverts to default alternating 80kg setting after 20 minutes.
Seat Mode

Increases mattress pressure by +5mmHg, supporting the sacral area; can be activated in conjunction with Alternating or Static modes.
Alert System

Audible and visual alerts for low pressure, power failure, and alternate failure enhance safety monitoring.
Auto Lockout

The pump auto locks after 5 minutes of inactivity, preventing accidental setting changes; a green LED indicates locked controls.
Mute Function

A mute button silences audible alerts after acknowledgment, allowing investigation of the cause.
Weight Setting

Default weight setting is 80kg, easily adjustable with + and - buttons.
Maintenance Features

Accessible rear filter with cover for easy maintenance, integral hanging hooks for suspension from the bed footboard.
Cell Construction

20 cells with 3 static head cells, 17 alternating cells, and 20 static base air cells in 'air on air' construction, reducing the risk of 'bottoming out.'
CPR Pull Tags

Two CPR pull tags at the footend enable rapid deflation in emergencies.
Transport Mode

Achieved by connecting umbilical cord connectors, usable for up to 8 hours during power outages or transport needs.
Top Cover

PU, multi-stretch, water-resistant, and vapor-permeable top cover with antimicrobial agent Ultra-fresh™ for microbial control.
Bottom Cover

Includes cable management system, 360° zip for internal cell access, welded seams, waterfall flap, and two non-slip pads for safety.
Handling Features

Six strategically positioned straps with D rings secure the mattress to various bed frames; two handles on each side aid in evacuation procedures.
Identification and Safety

White inner substrate assists in identifying cover damage, strike-through prevention, and a 360° zip for fluid ingress reduction.

The Alto also features static, max inflate and seat modes to assist both the user and care giver.
